When to choose Pure vs Powder
- Choose Pure for flavor/fragrance compounding, emulsions, spray drying, oil/fat infusions, and scent formulations.

Handling / Formulation
- Pre-dilute in a carrier (ethanol/PG/triacetin/MCT/sugar) or incorporate into an emulsion before water-based use.
- Emulsions: add to oil phase & homogenize.
- Spray drying: emulsify with maltodextrin, gum arabic, or OSA starch.
- Oil/fat systems: dose into oils, butters, or lipid carriers; bench test release/stability.
- Fragrance/cosmetics: solubilize in perfumer’s alcohol or neutral carriers/fixatives; observe IFRA/category limits where applicable.
Use rates
- Beverages: 0.01% - 0.10% in finished product.
- Oil/fat systems: typically 0.01–1% depending on matrix.
- Aromatherapy/cosmetic/perfume: dose per industry norms.

- Flavor industry: top-note boosters, Natural/WONF flavors, emulsions, spray-dried flavors.
- Food & beverage: RTD syrups & bases (pre-diluted), atomized “spritz” finish.

Labeling guidance (U.S.)
Declare as “natural [flavor] extract” within compounded flavors or bases. Finished products should follow 21 CFR 101.22 for flavor labeling and INCI for cosmetic/perfume applications. IFRA conformance and EU cosmetic allergen declarations provided where applicable.
